5 years later: Me and you and you and me

Five years ago I put on my favorite Jim Hjelm couture dress. 

Met up with some ladies decked out in J. Crew. 

Stood next to a guy underneath a few willow trees. 

Smiled until my cheeks hurt. 

 

Smooched my husband for the first time as man and wife. 

And kept smooching him so much that we grossed out my nephew.

Danced for the first time as man and wife. 

Danced and sang until our cheeks hurt some more. 

Kept dancing all night. 

And we haven't stopped smiling since! You know how most people try to have a few serious pictures taken at their wedding?  Those token look off in the distance type photos might come to mind. We don't have any of those. We're either laughing, smiling, kissing, or singing in all of our wedding photos. 

It's been an amazing five years of wedded bliss.   Five years in the books and the rest of our lifetimes still in front of us.  I wouldn't have it any other way.
