I miss Christmas already
Life isn't fair. I had to be back at work on Monday and the hubs is off this week. It took every ounce of maturity in my body to not dump a bucket of water on him this morning. Haha, yes, I'm mature and I didn't do it.
But really, I want to go back to Christmas because this looks like much more fun:
Christmas dinner at my Aunt and Uncle's farm in New Jersey. Yes, there are actually farms in New Jersey.
The wintry view outside my childhood bedroom window. That field looking area is actually a lake.

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Whoopi!!! The Baltimore area was hit with a major snowstorm over the weekend and I couldn't be happier. Honestly, if getting 20 inches of snow on a Saturday isn't a blessing, then I don't know what is. Okay, I might be a bit biased on that one, but I love snow.
Cleaning off the cars, round one. Have I ever mentioned that on-street parking SUCKS!!!
Yeah, my car isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
In true fashion Jewels wanted absolutely nothing to do with the elements. Of course, Jax wanted nothing to do but to play in the snow.
Day Two:
I love snow when it's in that "fresh and clean" stage. It doesn't last long, but it's so beautiful.
Again, on-street parking isn't cool.
Can I interest you in a truckload of snow?
Can you guess which of our dogs slept like a baby all afternoon?

Office Holiday Party 2009
The hubs and I went to my office's Holiday Party in Annapolis a few weeks ago. I didn't bring a camera, but someone in my office just posted a few pictures on our company share drive.
Now, I normally hate having my picture taken. I think I suffer from "over analyze everything about a picture syndrome and never be happy." Yeah, it's fun. I also have a tendency to close my eyes in pictures, I still haven't figured out how to keep my eyes open when someone uses a flash. It's a work in progress.
Anyway, the party was a great time. I love my co-workers and they definitely know how to have a good time.
I think, just think, that this picture might just sum up the hubs and me.
We're happy people! We like to crack jokes and usually at our own expense! We're funny people!

It's here!!!
For the past year the hubs and I have discussed at great length buying a new car. That's putting it mildly. We're not the type to make a rash decision on such a big purchase.
The research stage intensified over the past six months and became a daily conversation topic these past three months. Really there wasn't a weekend that didn't include some type of car research. Our starting point was attending the Motor Trend car show in Baltimore last winter. The hubs and I honestly sat and peeked around close to 50 car models.
Of course, when it came for each of us to write our prospective car list the two couldn't be more different from each other.
My top three cars:
1. Mini Cooper S
2. Toyota Prius
3. Ford Fushion Hybrid
The hubs' top three:
1. Dodge Challenger
2. BMW 328i
3. Chevy Camaro
See a minor difference between those lists??? I wanted optimal fuel efficiency and the hubs wanted lots of horsepower and speed.
So now, without further ado, here's a stock photo of my baby:
I love her! I'd sleep in her if that was an acceptable option in Baltimore. The hubs and I first took her for a test drive when she had less than a mile on her. Besides the car salesman, we're the only people to drive her!
I don't have any decent pictures of her yet because we didn't get home from the dealership until 9:30pm Friday night. Then, on Saturday we had a football tournament that took up most of the daylight hours. It rained all day Sunday and I don't get to see my beloved automobile during the normal workday daylight hours.
Hopefully, I'll take some pictures of her this weekend, but it looks like that might be difficult with the snow accumulations expected this weekend. Good thing the hubs and I have an SUV. Somehow I don't imagine a Prius earns its highest marks in the snow.
